One company for every kind of limo service

The phrase limo service has come to mean something much broader than a white stretch at a prom. Today it covers the sedan that takes an executive to Dulles at 5 a.m., the SUV that collects a family of six at JFK, the stretch limousine that carries a wedding party, and the motor coach that moves two hundred conference guests between hotels.

AA Limousine does all of it, from one dispatch desk, on one account. Limo service, limousine service, car service, black car: people use those words interchangeably, and so do we. Whichever one you typed to get here, this page covers it.

This is the hub for our limousine service across six states. Whether you are searching for airport limo service, corporate limo service, wedding limo service, executive limo service, a stretch limousine service for a celebration, or simply a luxury limo service near you that answers the phone, the answer is the same company, known as AA Limo, A&A Limousine, A&A Limo and A & A Limousine Service.

What you get is consistent regardless of which vehicle you book: a late-model, inspected vehicle; a licensed, background-checked chauffeur in business dress; a flat quoted rate with gratuity, tolls and fees already inside it; and a live dispatcher on the phone at any hour of any day. What you do not get is surge pricing, a stranger in an unmarked car, or an app support queue when something goes wrong at 4 a.m.

Get a quote online in two minutes, or call and talk to a coordinator who will tell you honestly which vehicle your trip actually needs.

What is a limo service or limousine service, exactly?

It is worth clearing this up, because the word means different things to different people and booking the wrong thing is expensive.

A limo service, or limousine service, is pre-booked, chauffeur-driven transportation in a commercially licensed vehicle, reserved in advance at an agreed rate. Three parts of that matter:

  • Pre-booked. You reserve a specific vehicle for a specific time. It is not hailed, not dispatched to whoever is nearest, and not subject to availability at the moment you need it. A car booked for 4:30 a.m. in February is there at 4:30 a.m. in February.
  • Chauffeur-driven. A chauffeur is a trained professional in business dress who holds commercial livery licensing, is covered by commercial insurance, and is employed and accountable. That is a different job from driving.
  • Commercially licensed. The vehicle is registered, inspected and insured for livery work, and the operator is licensed in the states where it runs. This is the part customers rarely check and the part that matters most when something goes wrong.

The vehicle itself is almost beside the point. A limo car service booking might arrive as a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a Cadillac Escalade, a stretch limousine or a 56-passenger motor coach. What makes it a limo service is the reservation, the chauffeur and the licensing behind it, not the length of the car.

That is also why a black car limo service and a private limousine service describe the same product with different emphasis. Businesses tend to call it black car or executive; families and celebrants tend to call it a limo. We treat them identically.

The full A&A Limousine fleet

Most operators are good at one slice of this business. We built the fleet so that a client never has to find a second vendor when the headcount changes.

For funerals we coordinate matching sedans and limousines in procession.

If you are deciding between two sizes, book up. The most common regret in this industry is a vehicle that was slightly too small, and it is discovered at the curb, with everyone watching, at the worst possible moment. For a side-by-side guide, read choosing the right A&A Limo service vehicle.

Stretch limo and stretch limousine service

The stretch is what most people picture when they say limo, and it still has a job no other vehicle does: it keeps a group together, in one room, on the way to something that matters.

Our stretch limousine service runs classic Lincoln stretch limousines seating eight to ten and stretch SUV limousines seating twelve to eighteen. Inside: wraparound leather seating, fiber-optic and LED cabin lighting, privacy partition, climate control, a premium sound system with Bluetooth, and a bar area with ice and glassware. Complimentary bottled water is standard; anything else is yours to bring, and we will have the cooler stocked with ice when the car arrives.

When a stretch is the right call: weddings, prom and homecoming, quinceañeras and sweet sixteens, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, bachelor and bachelorette parties, casino and theater nights, and wine tours where the point is that nobody drives.

When it is not: airport runs with luggage. A stretch has far less usable trunk space than its length suggests, and it cannot get into most airport parking structures or hotel porticos. For airport work with a group, a Sprinter or an SUV is the better vehicle, and we will say so rather than sell you the more expensive car.

Stretch limousines are also the first thing to sell out. In prom season across the DMV and the New York metro, Saturdays in May are often gone by February, and peak wedding Saturdays go nine to twelve months ahead. If you have a date, lock the vehicle early: stretch inventory in New Jersey, New York City and Northern Virginia moves fastest.

Every stretch in the A&A Limo fleet is inspected on a documented schedule, cleaned and restocked between every booking, and driven by a chauffeur licensed for that vehicle class.

Airport limo service and airport limousine service

Airport work is the largest part of our business and the least forgiving. Our airport limo service is built so that the things most likely to go wrong (a delay, a cancellation, a changed terminal) are our problem rather than yours.

  • We watch the flight. Dispatch tracks your inbound flight in real time and moves the pickup to match. Airline delays are never billed to you, and your complimentary wait time stands no matter when the wheels touch down.
  • We meet you where you want to be met. Inside baggage claim with a name sign, or at the designated curbside pickup zone if you travel light. Chauffeur name, photo, mobile number and vehicle details arrive by text before you land.
  • We leave early. Outbound trips are planned backward from your check-in deadline using live traffic for that road at that hour, with the chauffeur on site 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • We size the vehicle to the bags. Tell us the bag count, not just the headcount. The most common airport failure is a vehicle that could seat everyone but not their luggage.

High-volume routes include JFK limo service from Manhattan, Long Island and Westchester; Newark Airport limo service across North Jersey; DC limousine service to all three regional airports; and DFW limousine service across the Metroplex. Terminal tips are in our JFK and LaGuardia guide.

Private aviation is covered as well: A&A Transportation meets clients at Teterboro, Signature at Dulles, Atlantic Aviation at BWI, and the private terminals at Love Field and Hobby, planeside where the operator allows it. Cruise terminals at Manhattan, Cape Liberty, Baltimore, Norfolk and Galveston are regular work too.

Corporate, executive and business limousine service

Companies rarely hire a car service for one trip. They hire one because somebody senior is tired of transportation being a recurring problem. Our corporate limo service is set up to make it stop being one.

  • A named account coordinator. Not a queue: one person who learns which executives want a sedan and which want an SUV, who books on whose behalf, which traveler needs a quiet car, and which cost center each ride belongs to.
  • Consolidated billing. One monthly invoice, rides tagged by department, employee, client matter or project code. Direct billing, corporate cards and purchase orders are all supported, and finance reconciles without chasing receipts.
  • Roadshows and multi-stop days. A dedicated vehicle and chauffeur assigned for the full day, staying with your team between stops, with the itinerary briefed before the first pickup. Several cities in a week is routine work for our executive limo service.
  • Client and VIP arrivals. The ride from the terminal to your office is the first thing a visiting client experiences of your company. It is also the cheapest piece of hospitality in the entire visit.
  • Events at scale. Conferences, annual meetings, incentive trips and board retreats usually need a rolling program rather than one car: staged arrivals, continuous hotel shuttles, and an on-site coordinator when volume justifies it. A&A Limousine & Bus Service handles sedans through 56-seat coaches on the same contract.
  • Confidentiality. Chauffeurs on executive accounts sign non-disclosure agreements, and the partition stays up when you want it up.

Opening a corporate account with A&A Transport takes one conversation and no minimum spend. See how corporate accounts work.

Limo service for every occasion

Wedding limousine service

Weddings are the bookings with the least margin for error, because the schedule only runs once. Our wedding limo service covers the whole day rather than a single ride: the couple's transport, bridal party staging, family and VIP shuttles between ceremony and reception, guest transport by mini bus or coach, and the getaway car at the end of the night.

We build a written timeline with your planner, confirm every address and arrival time a week out, and dispatch vehicles early rather than on time. Red-carpet service, decorated vehicles and "Just Married" signage are available on request. Peak Saturdays in May, June, September and October book nine to twelve months ahead across all six states.

Prom and graduation limo service

Prom limo service is the one parents call about, and the questions are always the same: who is driving, are they licensed, and will the car actually show up. Our chauffeurs are background-checked, commercially licensed employees. We confirm the itinerary with the parent who books, not with the students, and we can provide arrival confirmation at each stop.

We run a strict no-alcohol policy for underage passengers, and our chauffeurs enforce it. Booking a limo for prom is a safety decision as much as a celebration, and we treat it that way. Prom Saturdays in May sell out across the DMV and New York metro by late winter. Read our prom safety policy.

Funeral and memorial transportation

Funeral limousine service deserves to be handled quietly, without a single thing for the family to manage. We coordinate directly with your funeral director, provide family limousines and matching sedans in procession, work with the escort arrangements, and keep chauffeurs in formal dress and out of the way. Scheduling is flexible, because these are not bookings made weeks in advance.

Nights out, concerts and games

Dinner in Manhattan, a show at the Kennedy Center, a concert at MetLife or Capital One Arena, a game in Arlington or Houston. A limo or SUV means nobody parks, nobody drives home, and nobody argues about who is the designated driver. Hourly booking is usually the right structure for an evening with more than two stops; for bigger groups, see the party bus.

Wine tours and day trips

Middleburg and Loudoun County in Virginia, the North Fork and Hudson Valley in New York, the Jersey Shore, and Texas Hill Country out of Austin. A Sprinter or stretch SUV turns a tasting day into something everyone can actually take part in. Our chauffeurs know the routes, the tasting-room parking, and how long each stop really takes. See wine tours.

Quinceañeras, birthdays and anniversaries

Milestone celebrations are what the stretch limousine was built for: photos at the start, the whole group together between venues, and a chauffeur who understands that the car is part of the occasion rather than just transport to it. For the biggest entrance, book the Hummer limo.

Point-to-point, hourly and long-distance limousine service

Point-to-point transfers. One address to another at a flat quoted rate: Midtown to Greenwich, Tysons to Capitol Hill, Bethesda to Annapolis, Hoboken to a dinner reservation in Tribeca, downtown Dallas to Fort Worth. The quote includes vehicle, chauffeur, tolls, fuel, parking and gratuity, and it does not change because it started raining. This is what point-to-point luxury transportation should be: a price you agreed to, and a car that shows up.

Hourly and as-directed. When a day has more than two stops, or the schedule is still forming, book the vehicle by the hour. It is yours for a minimum block, typically three hours, and you direct it as the day unfolds. Property tours, depositions across multiple offices, medical appointment days, shopping afternoons, and evenings with dinner, a show and a late ride home all work better this way than as a string of separate bookings.

Long-distance limo service. New York to Philadelphia or Boston, DC to Baltimore, Annapolis, Richmond or Charlottesville, Dallas to Austin, Houston to Galveston. For two or more travelers, a long-distance door-to-door ride frequently beats a short-haul flight once you count security, parking and a taxi at each end, and you can work, sleep or talk the entire way. We quote these as flat rates with no mileage surprises. Worked example: New York to DC by private car.

Around the clock. Red-eye arrivals, 4 a.m. departures, holiday travel and plans that change at 11 p.m. are normal volume. Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and A&A Limo Service reservations can be made by phone, email or online at any hour.

How much does limo service cost?

The honest answer is that it depends on four things, and any company giving you a single number before asking about them is guessing.

  1. How the trip is structured. Airport transfers and point-to-point runs are quoted as flat rates: one price, one trip, agreed in advance. Open-ended days are quoted hourly, with a minimum block that is usually three hours and often four to six hours on peak dates such as prom and wedding Saturdays.
  2. Which vehicle. A sedan is the entry point, an SUV sits above it, a stretch limousine above that, and coaches are priced differently again. Worth knowing: for three or more passengers, one SUV is usually cheaper than two sedans, and for twenty or more, one mini bus usually beats several vehicles.
  3. Distance and duration. Mileage, drive time, and whether the chauffeur waits or returns empty. Long-distance work is quoted as a flat rate rather than metered, so there are no surprises at the far end.
  4. Date and time. Peak dates (New Year's Eve, prom Saturdays, graduation weekends, major holidays and conference weeks) price higher and sell out early. A Tuesday in February does not cost what a Saturday in May costs.

What is included

Our quotes are all-in: vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, tolls, standard parking, airport fees and gratuity. No surge multiplier, no peak-hour adjustment, no booking fee added at checkout. The only charges that can appear afterward are ones you create (wait time beyond the complimentary window, stops added mid-trip, or extending an hourly booking) and each is quoted at a published rate before you agree to it.

That matters more than the headline number. A cheaper quote with fuel surcharges, administrative fees and gratuity added at the end routinely lands higher than an all-inclusive one.

Cancellations

Free cancellation up to four hours before pickup on local transfers, and 24 hours before on long-distance, special-occasion and multi-vehicle bookings. Airline-caused cancellations are never charged. Corporate accounts can negotiate terms to match their travel policy.

Why AA Limousine

A great deal of what is sold online as limo service is a booking page in front of someone else's vehicles. The company you paid never owns a car, never employs a chauffeur, and subcontracts your wedding to whoever answers at 6 a.m. If something goes wrong, nobody is accountable, because the company that took your money was never going to be there. That is the distinction worth checking before you book anyone, including us.

  • We own and operate the fleet. Sedans through motor coaches, maintained on a documented preventive schedule, with tires, brakes and safety systems inspected on a calendar, not after something fails.
  • Our chauffeurs are employees. Every one clears a national criminal background check, a motor vehicle record review, DOT-standard screening and ongoing defensive-driving certification, and holds the commercial and livery licensing each state requires. More in meet the A & A Limo chauffeurs.
  • Insured and licensed. We carry commercial livery insurance well above state minimums, and we are licensed in every state we operate in. Certificates of insurance are available to corporate and venue clients on request; many hotels and event venues require them, and we send them without being chased.
  • Dispatch is staffed by people, around the clock. The night before every assignment, bookings are reviewed against flight status, weather, construction and event closures. If something looks fragile, it gets an earlier start time. If a vehicle has a problem on the road, a backup is assigned before you hear about it.

Book your limo or limousine

Tell us the date, the headcount and where you are going. We will tell you which vehicle fits, what it costs, and nothing will change after that. Book online at aalimousines.com for an instant quote, call dispatch at any hour of any day, or email to open a corporate account or plan an event program. Single rides, wedding days, multi-vehicle programs and full group transportation are all handled from the same desk.

AA Limousine carries commuters, executives, brides, graduating classes, families and visiting delegations across New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas. Whether you found us as A & A Limo, A & A Limousine, AA Limousine Service, A and A Limousine, A and A Transportation or A&A Bus, you have reached the same company and the same standard: sedans, SUVs, stretch limousines and coaches, licensed chauffeurs, flat all-inclusive rates, 24 hours a day, six states.

Frequently asked questions

What is a limousine service?

Pre-booked, chauffeur-driven transportation in a commercially licensed vehicle, reserved in advance at an agreed rate. The vehicle can be a sedan, an SUV, a stretch limousine or a coach; what defines it is the reservation, the professional chauffeur and the licensing behind the operation.

What is the difference between a limo service and a car service?

In practice, very little. "Car service" tends to describe sedan and SUV work, "limo service" tends to include stretch vehicles and occasions, and "black car service" is the corporate phrasing. AA Limousine provides all of it under one booking system.

How much does a limo service cost?

It depends on vehicle class, trip structure, distance and date. Airport and point-to-point trips are flat-rated; open-ended days are hourly with a three-hour minimum that rises on peak dates. Every quote is all-inclusive (gratuity, tolls, fuel, parking and fees included) and given in full before you confirm.

Does Uber have a limousine service?

Rideshare apps offer premium tiers that dispatch a qualifying vehicle nearby at a price that moves with demand. That is a different product from a reservation: with a limo service, the vehicle, the chauffeur and the rate are all confirmed in advance, weeks or months ahead if needed, and a human dispatcher is accountable for it.

How far in advance should I book?

Twenty-four hours is comfortable for a standard transfer. Weddings, nine to twelve months. Prom, three to five months, since May Saturdays sell out by late winter. New Year's Eve, as early as you can. Same-day requests are still worth a call; we take them daily.

How many people fit in a limo?

A stretch limousine seats eight to ten and a stretch SUV limousine twelve to eighteen. Sedans take up to three, SUVs up to seven, Sprinters ten to fifteen, mini buses eighteen to thirty, and motor coaches up to fifty-six.

Do you offer 24-hour limo service?

Yes. Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Early-morning departures and overnight arrivals are routine.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight and move the pickup automatically. Airline delays are never charged, and your complimentary wait time stands regardless of when you land.

Is gratuity included?

Yes, in every quote, along with tolls, fuel, parking and airport fees. Anything further is at your discretion.

Can I drink alcohol in the limousine?

Passengers of legal drinking age may consume alcohol in our stretch limousines and party vehicles where state law permits it, and we provide ice and glassware. Alcohol is never permitted for underage passengers, and our chauffeurs enforce that without exception, including on prom and graduation bookings.

Do you provide child safety seats?

Yes, free with advance notice, installed before pickup and matched to each child's age and weight.

Can I book several vehicles for one event?

Yes. Multi-vehicle programs, staged arrivals and continuous shuttles are standard work, and one coordinator owns the manifest for the whole event.

Do you serve destinations outside these six states?

Our own fleet operates in New York, New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas. Through a vetted national affiliate network we also arrange service in major markets nationwide, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Denver and Seattle, booked through us, billed on your account and held to our standards.

Can I request the same chauffeur?

Yes, and most regular clients do. Name your preference at booking and we will assign them whenever their schedule allows.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards, ACH, corporate cards and direct invoicing for established accounts.
