Mid-size party bus · 25–30

The workhorse of prom season and wedding shuttles: full-length bar, dance space, upgraded sound and a dance pole that can be removed on request.

Large party bus · 34–40

The longest cabins we run, with the heaviest sound systems and seating around the full perimeter. Books out first for May prom Saturdays and New Year's Eve.

Party bus rental in six states

AA Limousine provides chauffeured party bus service for groups of 18 to 40 passengers across New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas, with licensed chauffeurs, flat all-inclusive rates and 24/7 dispatch.

Every party bus rental includes a professional chauffeur. We do not rent vehicles for self-drive, and no operator legally can: a party bus requires a commercially licensed driver.

A party bus does something no other vehicle does: it turns the travel into part of the event. Standing room, perimeter lounge seating, your own music, and a group of thirty that stays together from the first pickup to the last drop-off, with no parking, no designated driver and no one lost between venues.

Request a quote online or call dispatch. Party buses are the fastest-selling vehicle class in the fleet: prom Saturdays, New Year's Eve and peak wedding dates go months ahead.

Party bus for weddings

A wedding party bus solves the hardest logistics problem of the day: moving guests between hotel, ceremony and reception without anyone driving or getting lost. Booked either as a continuous shuttle loop or as set runs at fixed times.

  • Guest shuttle loops between hotel block, ceremony and reception
  • Bridal party transport with room for dresses, shoes and emergency kit
  • Late-night return runs so guests can drink and still get back
  • Written timeline built with you or your planner, every address confirmed a week out
  • Paired with a sedan or stretch limousine for the couple
  • Certificates of insurance sent directly to venues that require them

AA Limo dispatches wedding vehicles early rather than on time. Peak Saturdays in May, June, September and October book nine to twelve months ahead.

Most wedding bookings use the bus for guests and a separate vehicle for the couple, because the two have different timings. A shuttle loop typically runs two to three hours around the ceremony and another two at the end of the night; we will tell you how many passes the vehicle can realistically make given the drive time between your venues, which is the detail most couples underestimate. See our wedding limo service.

Party bus for prom and homecoming

Prom party bus bookings are the largest single use of these vehicles. Thirty students in one vehicle with a commercially licensed chauffeur beats eight cars driven by teenagers, which is why most of these bookings are made by parents rather than students.

  • Itinerary, stop list and return time confirmed with the booking parent
  • Students cannot change the route on the night
  • Arrival confirmation at each stop available on request
  • Strictly enforced zero-alcohol policy for underage passengers
  • Multiple pickup addresses included within the same area

May Saturdays across the DMV and the New York metro sell out by late winter. Book with A and A Limousine in January or February for a May date.

A typical prom booking runs five to six hours: pickups across several addresses, a photo stop, dinner, the venue, and a return home or to a supervised after-party. Parents booking for a larger class group should ask about multi-vehicle dispatch so the buses arrive together rather than twenty minutes apart.

If you are comparing operators, ask four questions: is the vehicle theirs or subcontracted, what is the chauffeur's licensing, what exactly does the final figure include, and what are the cancellation terms. A legitimate company answers all four without hesitating. Read our prom safety policy, or compare with the Hummer limo for smaller prom groups.

Party bus for bachelor and bachelorette parties

The natural vehicle for twenty to thirty people moving between venues all night. Bachelorette and bachelor party bus bookings run hourly, five or six hours is typical, with dinner, two or three venues and a late return.

  • Multi-address pickups across a metro area
  • Ice, coolers and glassware stocked before pickup
  • Your own music via Bluetooth and aux
  • Decorations and banners permitted
  • Hourly extensions available on the night at a published rate

Bachelorette and bachelor bookings are the most likely to run over, so build the extension into the plan rather than hoping. We quote the overtime rate up front and the chauffeur will tell you at the hour mark whether the vehicle is free to continue. Weekend dates in spring and early autumn, peak wedding season, are the hardest to get and should be booked two to three months out.

Party bus for birthdays and anniversaries

Milestone birthdays, surprise parties and anniversary nights. A&A Limo Service runs these as flexible hourly bookings (dinner, a venue or two, and home) with a stop list that can change as the night goes.

A birthday party bus is usually booked for four to six hours with a loose stop list, because birthday nights rarely run to plan. The chauffeur holds the schedule so the group does not have to, and extensions are available on the night subject to the vehicle's next booking.

  • Multiple pickup addresses across a metro area at no extra charge
  • Surprise arrivals: give us the address and time and we arrive unannounced
  • Decorations, banners and balloons welcome
  • Ice, coolers and glassware stocked before pickup
  • Milestone 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th bookings are our most common birthday work

Party bus for quinceañeras and sweet sixteens

Court, family and guests in one vehicle, with photo stops built into the itinerary. A & A Limousine coordinates with the venue in advance on where a 40-foot vehicle can actually stop, so a timed entrance runs to schedule. These are entrance-driven events, and the entrance is what you are paying for; A&A Limousine & Bus Service builds the timeline around the photographer rather than the other way round.

  • Court, family and guests carried together or in vehicles dispatched as a convoy
  • Venue staging confirmed in advance so the vehicle stops where the photos happen
  • Photo stops built into the itinerary
  • Chauffeur in formal dress

Spring and early-summer Saturdays book out first across Texas and the DMV, where quinceañera volume is heaviest for A and A Transportation.

Party bus for graduations and school events

Graduation dinners, senior nights, banquets and end-of-season team celebrations, with the same structure as prom: adult-confirmed itinerary, fixed stop list, no alcohol for underage passengers. Book alongside prom dates in late winter.

Graduation weekends compress an enormous amount of demand into a few days, and party buses are the first thing to go. Families booking several vehicles for a larger class group should contact A and A Limousine directly so the vehicles are dispatched together rather than arriving piecemeal.

  • Ceremony drop-off and collection at an agreed point clear of campus traffic
  • Restaurant and reception runs with a fixed return time
  • Multi-vehicle coordination for large class or team groups
  • Adult-confirmed itinerary on all under-21 bookings

Party bus for concerts, games and nights out

MetLife, Madison Square Garden, Capital One Arena, Nationals Park, AT&T Stadium, Minute Maid Park and amphitheatre runs. A A Limo sets a post-event pickup point clear of the traffic and sends it to every passenger beforehand: that is the difference between leaving at 10:15 and leaving at 11:30. Our Newark and MetLife guide covers stadium nights.

  • Tailgate drop-off and post-event collection at an agreed point
  • No parking fees, no designated driver
  • Playoff and festival dates price as peak and sell out early

Stadium and arena bookings are usually quoted as a round trip with a wait, rather than hourly, because the timings are known. For festivals, amphitheatre shows and anything with a single exit road, hourly is safer: the vehicle holds its position and leaves when you do rather than at a fixed time.

Party bus for wine, brewery and casino trips

Wine and brewery tours. Middleburg and Loudoun County in Virginia, the North Fork and Hudson Valley in New York, the Jersey Shore wineries, Maryland's Eastern Shore and Texas Hill Country out of Austin. Tour days are booked hourly, typically six to eight hours door to door, and the chauffeur manages the parts that ruin an unplanned tasting day: drive times between stops, which wineries can take a large vehicle, where it parks once it arrives, and how long each tasting actually takes.

  • Three to five stops is the realistic number for a day; more than that and nobody enjoys it
  • Lunch stop built into the itinerary
  • Coolers and glassware on board for what you buy along the way
  • Restroom-equipped vehicles available on request for longer rural routes
  • Brewery and distillery trails run the same way as wine routes

A&A Limo Service chauffeurs know the Loudoun, North Fork and Hill Country routes well enough to reorder your stops if the timing will not work. See wine tours and our Virginia wine country guide.

Casino and day trips. Atlantic City, MGM National Harbor, Maryland Live!, Charles Town, and Shore or Hill Country day trips. Casino runs are the most predictable booking we take: a fixed departure, a fixed return and a known drive. That makes them simple to quote as a flat round trip, and it means nobody in the group is deciding at midnight whether they are safe to drive home. Beach, outlet, orchard and ski-town day trips run the same way; overnight and multi-day programs are quoted on request.

Party bus for corporate and team events

Holiday party circuits, sales-team celebrations, client entertainment nights and office outings. Corporate bookings can run through an existing AA Transportation account with the ride tagged to a department or cost code, and billed on the same monthly invoice as your executive travel.

Corporate party bus work peaks in December, when a holiday party circuit needs twenty or thirty people moved between a restaurant, a venue and home without anyone driving. It is also a liability decision as much as a hospitality one: a chauffeured vehicle removes the question of how employees get home from a company event where alcohol is served.

  • Consolidated invoicing on an existing AA Transportation account
  • Rides tagged by department, cost center or event code
  • Certificates of insurance issued to venues on request
  • Multi-vehicle programs for larger headcounts, coordinated by one account manager
  • Pairs with sedans and SUVs for executives traveling separately

Kids and teen party bus

Birthday parties for younger children and supervised teen events. Bookings are made and confirmed by a parent or guardian, an adult must travel with the group, and no alcohol is permitted on board under any circumstances.

These bookings run on a shorter block, two to three hours is typical, and usually as a loop: pickup, an activity venue, a restaurant, and home. The vehicle itself tends to be the main attraction for younger groups, which keeps the itinerary simple.

  • Parent or guardian books, confirms the itinerary and travels with the group
  • Zero alcohol on board under any circumstances
  • Dance pole removed on request for family bookings
  • Multiple pickup addresses for the guest list
  • Decorations and birthday signage welcome

Party bus sizes

"Party bus" covers vehicles of very different lengths. The right one depends on headcount, the venues you are visiting, and how much standing room the group actually wants.

SizePassengersBest for
Mini party bus18–22Birthdays, bachelorette parties, dinner-and-drinks nights
Mid-size party bus25–30Prom groups, wedding shuttles, corporate nights
Large party bus34–40Large prom and graduation groups, big celebrations

Mini party bus

A mini party bus seats eighteen to twenty-two with full standing height, a bar area and perimeter seating. Typical build: wraparound leather perimeter seating, LED and fiber-optic lighting, a bar with ice compartments, premium audio with Bluetooth, flat screens and privacy glass. Enough open floor for a group to stand and move around, but short enough to handle suburban streets and most hotel entrances.

For a group of eighteen to twenty-two deciding between a mini party bus and two stretch limousines, the bus is normally cheaper, simpler to coordinate, and keeps everyone together, which is usually the reason the booking exists.

Mid-size party bus

Twenty-five to thirty passengers: the size most people picture when they search for a party bus. Full-length bar, substantial dance space, upgraded sound with subwoofers, colour-selectable LED and starlight ceiling, flat screens and mirrored panels, and often a dance pole that can be removed on request for family and school bookings.

It is also the size where access starts to matter. A&A Limo checks every stop on a mid-size booking before confirming, because a vehicle in this class cannot use most parking garages, hotel porticos or tight residential turnarounds. Where a stop is not viable we propose a staging point within walking distance and tell you at the quote stage.

Large party bus

Thirty-four to forty passengers, with the longest cabins we run: full bar, extended dance area, the heaviest sound systems in the fleet and seating around the full perimeter. Booked for large prom and graduation groups, big milestone celebrations and wedding guest shuttles where thirty-five to forty people need to move in one go.

At this length, route planning stops being optional. Expect A and A Limo to ask for every address at the quote stage, and expect at least one of them to need a staging point, particularly in Manhattan, Georgetown, Annapolis and older Baltimore and Richmond neighbourhoods.

Choosing between them

If access is the constraint, go smaller. If standing room and dance space are the point, go mid-size or large. Tell A & A Limousine the route and the occasion and we will name the size rather than selling you the biggest one available. For groups under eighteen, a Sprinter limo or Hummer limo usually fits better; for groups over forty, or long runs where people want to sit, add a mini bus or motor coach.

How many people fit in a party bus?

Our party buses carry 18 to 40 passengers depending on size.

Group sizeVehicle we would send
10–16Sprinter limo or Hummer limo
17–22Mini party bus
23–30Mid-size party bus
31–40Large party bus
40+Two vehicles, or a motor coach

Sizing guidance: seating capacity and comfortable capacity are different numbers. A 30-passenger bus seats thirty on perimeter benches shoulder to shoulder. For a six-hour night with coats, bags and people wanting to move around, book two to four seats of headroom. Groups in formalwear (prom, weddings, quinceañeras) should add more: dresses and suits take up noticeably more room than the same headcount in casual clothes.

Tell us the exact headcount and what people will be wearing and A&A Limousine will tell you which size actually fits, including when the honest answer is the next size up. More on the layout and rules in inside the A&A Bus.

Features and amenities

  • Full standing height with perimeter lounge seating in leather
  • Fiber-optic starlight ceiling and colour-selectable LED lighting
  • High-output sound system with subwoofers, Bluetooth and aux input
  • Flat screens and, on most vehicles, mirrored ceiling panels
  • Full-length bar area with ice compartments, coolers and glassware
  • Dance floor space; dance pole on selected vehicles, removable on request
  • Privacy glass and a partition to the chauffeur's compartment
  • Independent climate control in the passenger compartment
  • Onboard restroom on selected larger vehicles; ask at the quote stage
  • Complimentary bottled water and ice stocked before every booking

On restrooms: not every party bus has one. Onboard restrooms are generally found only on larger coach-built vehicles. If you need one, for a long wine-tour day, a route with few stops or a group with older passengers, say so when you book and we will confirm in writing which vehicles can provide it.

Party bus rental rates and booking terms

Pricing structure: party buses are priced hourly with a minimum block. Four hours is standard; five to six hours applies on peak dates. The minimum exists because the vehicle cannot be turned around for a second booking in the gaps.

Five things set your rate:

  1. Hours booked: the single largest factor.
  2. Vehicle size: a 40-passenger bus costs more than an 18.
  3. Date: prom Saturdays in May, graduation weekends, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and peak wedding Saturdays price highest and sell out first.
  4. Route and access: mileage, drive time, and whether a 40-foot vehicle can reach each stop.
  5. How the quote is built: ours are all-inclusive. A cheaper headline price with fuel surcharges, administrative fees and gratuity added at the end regularly finishes higher than an all-in quote.

Splitting the cost: divided across twenty or thirty people, a party bus for an evening often comes in below what each person would spend on rideshare across the same night, and nobody is standing outside at 1 a.m. watching surge pricing climb.

  • Deposit: required to hold the date, with the balance due before the run. A refundable damage deposit may apply on larger celebration bookings; it is stated in writing when you book and returned after the vehicle is checked.
  • Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before pickup on standard bookings. Peak dates such as prom and New Year's Eve carry longer terms, stated at the time of booking.
  • Overtime: extensions on the night are available subject to the vehicle's next booking, quoted at a published hourly rate before you agree to it.
  • Payment: all major credit cards, ACH, corporate cards and direct invoicing for established accounts.

Rules and policies

Stated plainly so there are no surprises on the night.

  • Alcohol. Passengers of legal drinking age may bring and consume alcohol on board where state law permits it, and we provide ice, coolers and glassware. Underage drinking is never permitted. On prom, graduation, school and under-21 bookings the policy is zero tolerance, enforced by the chauffeur, and a booking will be ended rather than continued if it is broken.
  • Smoking and vaping. Not permitted on any vehicle. Cleaning charges apply.
  • Capacity. The passenger limit is a legal limit, not a guideline. We cannot carry more people than the vehicle is rated for, and a chauffeur will not depart with an overloaded vehicle.
  • Standing while moving. Permitted on party buses, which is the point of the format, but the chauffeur may ask passengers to be seated on highways or in poor conditions.
  • Damage. Normal use is expected and not charged for. Deliberate damage, broken glassware and excessive cleaning are deducted from the damage deposit, with photographs provided.
  • Tipping. Standard gratuity is already included in your quote. Anything beyond that is entirely at your discretion and goes directly to the chauffeur.
  • Decorations. Welcome: banners, balloons and signage are all fine. Nothing adhesive on the ceiling or screens, and no confetti or glitter.
  • Pickup access. Some addresses cannot physically take a 40-foot vehicle. A&A Transport checks every stop before confirming and will propose a staging point nearby rather than letting you discover the problem on the night.

Where we operate

New York party bus rental

Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and the Hudson Valley. Manhattan is the most access-restricted market we operate in for vehicles this size, so A Limousine Service plans staging points at the quote stage rather than on the night. Prom volume across Long Island and Westchester peaks in May; wedding shuttles run June through October. New York service area

New Jersey party bus rental

Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Princeton, Edison, Paramus, Morristown, Cherry Hill and the Shore. Atlantic City is a steady weekend route, Shore weddings fill the summer, and North Jersey prom bookings run April through June for A&A Limo Service. New Jersey service area

Washington, DC party bus rental

Party bus bookings across the District and the DMV, with the caveat that several downtown corridors, federal security zones and event perimeters restrict oversized vehicles. A & A Limousine Service confirms stopping points before you finalise a venue. Graduation season across the District's universities books out early. Washington DC service area

Maryland party bus rental

Baltimore City and County, Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, Columbia, Annapolis, Frederick, Towson, Dundalk and Essex. Montgomery and Howard county prom season is our busiest period of the year, and A and A Metro clients book Preakness and Naval Academy weekends well ahead. Maryland service area

Virginia party bus rental

Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, McLean, Reston, Fairfax, Loudoun, Richmond, Charlottesville, Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Northern Virginia weddings, Loudoun County wine tours and Richmond graduations make up most of the volume for A & A Limo in the state. Virginia service area

Texas party bus rental

Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth, plus Plano, Frisco, Irving, The Woodlands, Sugar Land and Round Rock. Texas has the easiest access of our six states for large vehicles, with wider roads, bigger lots and venues built with them in mind. A and A Transportation runs heavy quinceañera, homecoming and game-day volume across the Metroplex, Houston and San Antonio. Texas service area

Nationwide: through a vetted affiliate network we arrange party bus service in other major markets, booked through us and billed on your account.

Why book with AA Limousine

  • Owned and operated fleet, not a booking page reselling another company's vehicles
  • Employed chauffeurs: national criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, DOT-standard screening and the commercial licensing a vehicle this size legally requires
  • Commercial livery insurance well above state minimums, with certificates issued to venues on request
  • Documented preventive maintenance on every vehicle, records available on request
  • Access checked before you book: every stop verified for a 40-foot vehicle
  • 24/7 live dispatch: a person on the phone at any hour, not an app queue

What you get in writing before you pay

  1. Vehicle size and configuration
  2. Full itinerary with every stop and timing
  3. The total price, all-inclusive, with nothing added afterward
  4. Deposit, damage deposit and cancellation terms
  5. Operator licence and proof of commercial insurance on request

If an operator will not put those five things in writing, that is worth knowing before a deposit changes hands, whether you are booking with us or anyone else.

One company, every vehicle class

Groups change size, and not every trip is a party. A&A Limousine Service runs the full range on one booking and one invoice:

Clients who first called A Limousines for a single airport sedan, or A&A Bus for a school charter, now run weddings, proms and corporate nights through the same account.

How to book

  1. Send your date, headcount and stop list. Include what people will be wearing and every address the vehicle needs to reach.
  2. We confirm size, availability and access, including whether each stop can take the vehicle and whether you need an onboard restroom.
  3. You receive the quote in writing. All-inclusive, with deposit, damage deposit and cancellation terms stated.

Frequently asked questions

What is a party bus?

A party bus is a bus converted for passenger entertainment: perimeter lounge seating, standing height, a bar area, sound system and club-style lighting, driven by a commercially licensed chauffeur. It is booked by the hour for an event rather than as transport from A to B.

How many people fit in a party bus?

Our party buses carry 18 to 40 passengers depending on size. Book two to four seats above your headcount for comfort, and more for groups in formalwear. Smaller groups suit our Sprinter limo; larger groups can add a mini bus or motor coach.

How much does it cost to rent a party bus?

Party buses are priced hourly with a minimum block: four hours standard, five to six on peak dates. Cost depends on hours, vehicle size, date and route. Our quotes are all-inclusive: vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking and gratuity in one number, with nothing added afterward.

How much is a party bus for one hour?

We do not sell single hours; the minimum block is four hours on most dates. The hourly rate within that block depends on vehicle size and date, and is quoted in writing before you confirm.

Can you rent a party bus without a driver?

No. A vehicle this size requires a commercially licensed driver, so every booking is chauffeured. Any operator offering self-drive should be treated with caution.

Can you drink alcohol on a party bus?

Passengers of legal drinking age may where state law permits, and we provide ice, coolers and glassware. Underage drinking is never permitted, and on prom, school and under-21 bookings the policy is zero tolerance, enforced by the chauffeur.

Can you smoke on a party bus?

No, including vaping. Cleaning charges apply.

Do party buses have bathrooms?

Most standard party buses do not; onboard restrooms are generally found only on larger coach-built vehicles. Tell us at the quote stage if you need one and we will confirm in writing which vehicle can provide it.

How much do you tip a party bus driver?

Standard gratuity is already included in your quote, so nothing further is required. Anything you choose to add on the night is at your discretion and goes directly to the chauffeur.

What does a party bus include?

The vehicle, a licensed chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking, gratuity, ice, coolers, glassware and bottled water, plus the sound system, lighting and bar area. You bring your own drinks and music.

Can we play our own music?

Yes. Bluetooth and auxiliary input, controlled from the passenger compartment.

Can we decorate the bus?

Yes. Banners, balloons and signage are all fine. Nothing adhesive on ceilings or screens, and no confetti or glitter.

How far in advance should I book?

Prom 3–5 months, weddings 9–12 months, New Year's Eve as early as possible, graduation weekends 3–4 months, ordinary weekends 2–4 weeks.

Is a party bus or a limo better for my group?

Under ten passengers, a stretch limousine. Over eighteen, a party bus: more room, standing height and a proper bar. Between the two, it comes down to whether you want to sit or move around. We run both and will tell you which fits.

Do you serve my city?

Our fleet operates across New York, New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas, with vetted affiliate service in other major markets nationwide.
