No payment needed. We confirm availability and price before anything is booked.

Our city to city car service is built for the trips where flying takes longer than driving: New York to Washington, Dallas to Houston, Baltimore to Northern Virginia. You are picked up at your door, your luggage goes in the trunk, and you step out at the address you gave us. No security lines, no baggage claim, no parking garage. A&A Limousine runs these point-to-point rides across New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas, with long-distance trips between those states available on request.

Book a luxury sedan for a solo business trip, a luxury SUV for a family with luggage, or a Mercedes Sprinter Van for a team traveling together. If you need a vehicle on standby at the other end, pair the transfer with our hourly limo service. Every quote is all-inclusive, with gratuity, tolls and fees explained upfront, and you get written confirmation before the trip.

Pricing

How much does a city-to-city trip cost?

Each long-distance transfer is priced as a flat ride between the two addresses you give us, not by the hour, so the quote you receive is the total for the trip. Gratuity, tolls and fees are included and explained upfront, and you reserve with a secure deposit. For multi-stop days, we can quote an hourly rate instead.

Beyond the big day

Trips that pair with a long-distance ride

A city to city booking often sits inside a bigger travel plan. These are the rides customers add to the same reservation so one point of contact holds the whole schedule.

Airport legs at either end

Pair the drive with a pickup at JFK, Newark, Dulles, BWI, DFW, IAH or Austin-Bergstrom, with flight tracking and 60 minutes of free wait time on domestic arrivals. See airport transportation.

Corporate roadshows

An executive visiting offices in three cities in one week can keep one chauffeur and one vehicle across state lines, with the itinerary held by a single coordinator. Our roadshow transportation team plans those multi-stop days.

Cruise terminal transfers

Rides from an inland home or hotel to the Manhattan, Bayonne, Baltimore or Galveston terminals, timed to the ship's boarding window rather than a flight schedule. See cruise port car service.

Wine country day trips

Virginia wine country from DC, the Hudson Valley from Manhattan or Texas Hill Country from Austin, all reachable as a long day out with a chauffeur who stays with the group. Book it through wine tour limo service.

Wedding and event shuttles

Out-of-town guests landing in one city and staying in another can be moved in a single coach, with the same driver meeting them at the airport and at the hotel. Our wedding shuttle service handles the loops.

Hourly chauffeur on arrival

Keep the car and driver after the drop-off for meetings, showrooms or a family visit, then ride home the same evening without booking two separate trips. See hourly limo service.

Locations

City to City Car Service across New York, New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Virginia & Texas

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in New York

Airports JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), Westchester (HPN), Long Island MacArthur (ISP), Albany (ALB), Buffalo (BUF)

Most city to city car service from New York starts in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens and heads out of the metro on the Major Deegan, the New York State Thruway or the Long Island Expressway. Upstate runs to Albany, Saratoga Springs and the Adirondack towns follow the Thruway for three to four hours, while western runs to Buffalo and Rochester cross the whole state. Ski weekends to Hunter and Windham, college pickups in Ithaca and Syracuse, and wedding or conference travel between New York and Boston or Philadelphia are common bookings. Winter weather on the Thruway and the Berkshire passes is the main variable, so we build extra time into northbound schedules from December through March and track conditions before the chauffeur leaves the garage.

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in New Jersey

Airports Newark Liberty (EWR), Trenton-Mercer (TTN), Atlantic City (ACY)

New Jersey sits between two big metros, so a large share of our work is short intercity runs: Princeton to Manhattan, Hoboken to Philadelphia, Jersey City to Newark Liberty for a flight the next morning. The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway carry most of that traffic, and the shore towns from Asbury Park down to Cape May add two hours on summer Fridays and Sunday evenings. Corporate groups moving between offices in Newark, Princeton and the Route 1 corridor book sedans and Sprinters by the hour for a day of meetings. For longer trips south to Washington or north to Boston, we quote the whole door-to-door run with tolls included rather than leaving them to the meter.

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in Washington, DC

Airports Reagan National (DCA), Dulles (IAD), BWI Marshall (BWI)

Washington is a compact city with heavy security zones, so a ride out of DC often means threading the Capitol Hill and White House perimeters before reaching I-95 or the Beltway. Reagan National sits minutes from downtown, while Dulles is a 45-minute run west on the Dulles Toll Road, and both are common start points for intercity trips. The I-95 corridor north to Baltimore and Philadelphia and south to Richmond carries most of our long-distance work, with Union Station a frequent pickup for travelers arriving by train. Inaugurations, motorcades and major events close streets with little notice, so dispatch checks closures the morning of the ride and the chauffeur arrives 15 minutes early.

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in Maryland

Airports BWI Marshall (BWI), Hagerstown (HGR), Salisbury (SBY)

Maryland trips usually mean Baltimore and the I-95 corridor, or the Capital Beltway side through Bethesda, Rockville and Silver Spring. Annapolis sits off Route 50 and makes a straightforward run from DC or Baltimore for a wedding or a weekend on the water, while western Maryland toward Frederick and Hagerstown adds an hour of two-lane roads past the cities. BWI is a common start or end point for intercity rides, and we coordinate the pickup with your flight time. Summer beach traffic on Route 50 toward the Eastern Shore and Bay Bridge backups are the seasonal factor we plan around, especially on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings between May and September.

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in Virginia

Airports Dulles (IAD), Reagan National (DCA), Richmond (RIC), Norfolk (ORF), Charlottesville (CHO)

Virginia runs from the DC suburbs out to the Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge and the Tidewater ports, so trip lengths vary widely. Northern Virginia pickups in Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons and Loudoun County use I-66, the Dulles Toll Road and the Beltway, and Dulles (IAD) is a frequent start for intercity rides. Charlottesville and the wine country along Route 151 make an easy day trip from DC, while Richmond, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach sit two to four hours south on I-95 and I-64. Fall leaf season on Skyline Drive and I-81 slows mountain routes, and we add time for that from late September through October.

Long-Distance Chauffeur Service in Texas

Airports DFW, Love Field (DAL), Houston IAH, Hobby (HOU), Austin (AUS), San Antonio (SAT), El Paso (ELP)

Texas distances are the defining factor: Dallas to Houston is roughly four hours on I-45, Austin to San Antonio about ninety minutes on I-35, and Houston to Austin three hours on 71 and 290. A city to city car service here often replaces a short flight, especially for groups heading to Hill Country weddings, quinceañeras or winery tours around Fredericksburg and Johnson City. DFW, Love Field, IAH, Hobby and Austin-Bergstrom are regular start and end points, and we time pickups around flight arrivals. Summer heat means we keep the cabin cool before passengers board, and spring storms across Central Texas can slow I-35, so we check radar before departure.

Checklist

City to City Car Service planning checklist

Have these details ready when you request a quote for a long-distance ride, and the reservation team can price the run and confirm the vehicle in one pass.

  1. The exact pickup address, including the building entrance, floor or terminal door the chauffeur should use.

  2. The full drop-off address in the destination city, plus any second stop such as a hotel or office.

  3. The date, the time you want to leave and any hard arrival time at the other end, such as a meeting or a dinner reservation.

  4. How many passengers are traveling and how many suitcases, garment bags or golf bags go in the vehicle.

  5. Decide if you want a one-way ride, a round trip, or the chauffeur held by the hour at the destination.

  6. The names and mobile numbers of everyone riding, so the chauffeur can reach the group if traffic changes the plan.

  7. Any preferred route, rest stop or border crossing, and whether anyone in the party needs extra time boarding or exiting.

  8. Tell the reservation team about any special requests when you book, including luggage needs and multiple vehicle bookings under one reservation.

FAQs

City to City Car Service FAQs

How much does an intercity ride cost?

Pricing depends on the distance, the vehicle class, the number of passengers and the day of travel. A sedan from New York to DC costs less than a Sprinter carrying a team, and tolls along I-95 are part of the quote. Send your pickup and drop-off addresses and we will return an all-inclusive quote, usually within 15 minutes, with gratuity and fees explained upfront.

How far in advance should I book an intercity ride?

For airport and corporate travel, 24 hours is usually enough, and same-day requests are often possible when vehicles are available. Long-distance runs with a specific departure time, and group vehicles such as a Sprinter or mini bus, are better booked several days ahead. Tell the reservation team your date and route and we will confirm what is open.

Is there a minimum number of hours for a long-distance trip?

Long-distance trips are quoted as point-to-point runs rather than hourly, so you pay for the route from door to door. If you want the chauffeur to wait at a meeting or event before the return leg, we add that waiting time to the reservation and show it in the quote. Hourly bookings are also available when the day has several stops.

Can we drink in the vehicle on a long ride?

Guests 21 and older may bring their own beverages in limousines and party buses where state law allows, and we provide ice and glassware. In sedans and SUVs, bottled water is provided, and the chauffeur keeps the cabin at a comfortable temperature for the drive.

What happens if traffic delays the trip?

Your chauffeur plans the route around known trouble spots and checks conditions before departure, and dispatch monitors the drive. If a meeting runs long before pickup, call the reservation line and we adjust the schedule where the day allows. For airport drop-offs we build in buffer time, and for arrivals we track the flight and include 60 minutes of free wait time on domestic flights.

Which vehicle should I choose for a city to city trip?

A Luxury Sedan suits one to three passengers with two or three suitcases, and a Luxury SUV handles up to seven with more bags. Groups of ten to fifteen travel well in a Mercedes Sprinter Van with captain's chairs and Wi-Fi, and larger groups can use a Mini Bus or Charter Bus.

Can you run several vehicles on one intercity reservation?

Yes. A wedding party, a sports team or a company group can move in several vehicles under one reservation with a single point of contact, so nobody has to coordinate separate bookings. We assign each vehicle its own chauffeur and send names and contact details before pickup. Tell the reservation team the headcount and luggage when you book so the mix of sedans, SUVs and vans fits the group.

Do you provide city to city car service in all six states?

Yes. We run intercity rides across New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Texas, including long-distance trips between those areas such as New York to Washington or Dallas to Houston. Pickups are by reservation only, and the DC address is a registered office rather than a pickup point. Call +1 888 583 0779 or use the online quote form to plan the route.
