FAQs
Real Estate Tour Transportation FAQs
How much does real estate tour transportation cost?
Pricing depends on the vehicle class, the number of hours the car and chauffeur are held, the day of the week and how far the route runs. A single afternoon of showings in one county prices differently from a two-day relocation itinerary across three. Send your dates, the areas you plan to cover and the number of passengers, and we will return an all-inclusive quote, usually within 15 minutes.
How far ahead should I book a tour vehicle?
Book as soon as the showing schedule is set, and at least a few days ahead for a full-day agent tour. Relocation trips tied to a house-hunting weekend should be reserved once flights are confirmed, since the vehicle is held for the whole day. Same-day requests are often possible when vehicles are available, so call the reservation line if the plan comes together late.
How does hourly billing work for a day of showings?
You reserve the vehicle and chauffeur for a block of hours, and the car stays with you between appointments instead of releasing after each drop. The chauffeur waits at the curb or in the lot while you walk the property. If the day runs long, tell the reservation team when you book how you want extra time handled, and we will explain it upfront.
Can the chauffeur wait while we tour a property?
Yes. On an hourly booking the vehicle stays with you, and the chauffeur holds position at each address rather than leaving and returning. That matters in DC and Bethesda, where curb space is scarce and a released car may not get back quickly. Give the chauffeur a rough time at each stop so the next pickup point is already set.
Can we bring drinks or food on board during a tour day?
Bottled water is provided in the sedan and SUV classes, and guests 21 and older may bring their own beverages in limousines and party vehicles where state law allows. For a working tour day, most agents keep food off the leather and plan a lunch stop instead. Tell the reservation team about any special requests when you book.
Which vehicle should I choose for a relocation tour?
A solo buyer or one agent travels comfortably in a Luxury Sedan, while a couple with an agent fits a Luxury SUV with room for luggage. Families and small groups moving through several counties do well in a Mercedes Sprinter Van, and a group tour with multiple agents or clients can use a Sprinter Limo or Mini Bus. The full fleet page lists capacities for each class.
What happens if a flight or a showing runs late?
The schedule flexes, within the hours you have reserved. If a client's flight into Dulles or DFW slips, we track the arrival and adjust the pickup, and if a showing runs over, the chauffeur waits and the day compresses around it. Call dispatch with the change and we will rework the route rather than drop the remaining stops.
Do you provide real estate tour transportation in DC, Virginia, Maryland and Texas?
Yes. We run agent-hosted showing days and corporate relocation itineraries across Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and Texas, from DC's security zones and the Tysons corridor to Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. Long-distance tours between these areas can be arranged on one reservation, and you can reach the reservation team 24/7 to plan the route.
